Best fish sauce wings and the crispiest ever... definitely a must try idk about everything else but i order party trays here...specifically fish sauce wings. Thanks for this amazing dish!!!

Wings are bomb. They always have party trays of variety of foods ready to go! CASH ONLY!

The chicken wings are fire !!!! If you have a potluck, one tray of wings (garlic butter or fish sauce) is super affordable!!! This is my go to spot for all potluck parties lol. Service is normal Asian, they speak English. It gets busy so call ahead of time. It's a TO GO type of place, not a sit down. Love them wings!!!

Serious comfort food for serious get-together or impromptu party. This place is the go-to for many beloved dishes that we grew up eating in Vietnam. Most of their food can be purchased throughout the day until closing time, but some items need advance order like chicken wings or large trays of noodles, fried rice etc. Pricing is reasonably cheap. Parking is easy but you will often find rude drivers that just literally parked behind another parked car blocking traffic while they pick up their orders, but overall it's an easy in-and-out process. Most of their menu is good except for the egg rolls. One surprising item that is insanely delicious (imo) is their fried bananas. I never had the chance to come in the store when they're freshly made, but they're just as good after 5-10 minutes in the air fryer the next day. In fact, I think they're even better tasting after several minutes in the fryer.

I moved to OC from Sac and have been looking for party to go food trays and small to go food. A lady I watch on YouTube recommended this place so I had to try it out for myself. Initially I went on a holiday weekend and this place was packed! People order their chicken wings and dishes ahead of time. My favorite thing to get here is their banh bot lot. I think it was around $30 for the big tray with 50 pieces? Either way I'll definitely come back to try the other dishes and report back. Bring cash! If you didn't order ahead, they still have a lot of food freshly prepared for you to pick up. Sometimes if they're busy, there's two lines: one for pickup/order food and the second to grab to go food trays/plates.

Problem with Westminister/Garden Grove during the weekend is that traffic is typically congested and parking is bad. It's time consuming to go to multiple places for food pickup. With that being said, I am giving this place a solid 4. Yes, I understand some of their items would not be the best in general, but overall they are pretty solid. The way I would describe this is that if you are throwing a party/potluck and need to grab food in ONE place, Lam Van and Kim Phuong are my main two destinations. I have ordered a bunch of items from them before: * Banh Beo - the texture is pretty soft (not soggy). It's not super sticky either which is pretty good. * Banh Boc Loc - Huong Giang is prob the best place for this, but Lam Van does it pretty well. The only thing is that their Banh Boc Lot is sticky and it's a bit harder to take out than Huong Giang. This is probably because they put less oil. * Spring Rolls (nem) - I'll be honest, I'm not a fan of their spring rolls unfortunately. The Nem was nothing to rave about. * Spring Roll (Goi Cuon/Shrimp) - This one is a hit or miss. Sometimes in the packaging, I see the rice sheet break, but I would probably order this over Nem Cuon. * Beef Rolls - this one was pretty solid and I would recommend this. There is one thing that annoys me is that they are cash only business. So remember to bring cash or go to the Bank of America in this same plaza. Maybe it's because this is a common practice in Westminster, Garden Grove, and San Gabriel Valley, it's deemed a norm for me. I understand some of the bad reviews in regard to this, but I am able to tolerate it. Overall, I feel that this is solid place for folks to do "catering takeout" and I do plan to come here again.

I visited on a Thursday afternoon. It wasn't too busy. I did not call ahead but was able to order still and pick up same day. I ordered ga chien nuoc mam (fish sauce fried chicken wings). I ordered the smaller tray it was $45. It was about a 25 minute wait. Paid and got a receipt to come back later. It is a cash only establishment and the workers are very nice. When I came back my wings were done as quoted and they were piping hot which I loved it means the food was fresh. They packed the tray with chicken wings well worth the price. These wings are delicious my absolute favorite. They have the crunchiest batter and a savory sticky sauce great being paired with rice. I highly recommended this business for their wings you won't regret it! Side note I have tried their egg rolls at a party before they are just okay.

Great spot to get your local viet catering. I'm no even Vietnamese but I find this spot so clutch. So stress free! Delivers good food and best bang for your buck in the area. Got their chicken wings, salt pepper shrimp, papaya salad, chow mein, shaken beef. Take not it's cash only here And don't expect anything nice. It's literally a hole in the wall spot. Overall would recommend for your next party or get together
